Acitrom 4 Tablet is an oral anticoagulant that helps prevent harmful blood clots from forming in the legs, lungs, brain, and heart. It is commonly used to treat deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and to prevent strokes. Follow your doctor's instructions when taking Acitrom 4 Tablet. You can take it with or without food, but it’s recommended to take it at the same time each day. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor. For maximum benefit, take the medicine regularly, even if you feel well, as it helps prevent future complications.
This medication may increase the risk of bleeding. If you notice a pinpoint rash or blood in your vomit, urine, or stool, contact your doctor immediately. If you're undergoing surgery or dental procedures, you may need to temporarily stop taking this medicine, but only after consulting your doctor.
Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver issues. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as any other medications you are currently taking.
